We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Python and Django to help us redesign and rebuild our company’s e-commerce website. The new design is partially complete in Figma, and we need someone who can take the project from design to deployment with clean, secure, and scalable Django code. Project Scope: - Build a fully responsive e-commerce website based on our updated Figma design - Key pages include: Homepage, Product Listings, Product Detail Page, Shopping Cart, Checkout, Order History, and Admin Dashboard - Implement backend features with Django and Django REST Framework - Set up secure user authentication and authorization - Integrate Stripe for online payments - Develop and consume REST APIs for dynamic content - Optimize for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness - Deploy to production using modern DevOps practices Tech Stack: - Backend: Python, Django, Django REST Framework - Frontend (templating): Django Templates (with Bootstrap or TailwindCSS) - Database: PostgreSQL (preferred) - Payments: Stripe - Version Control: Git + GitHub - Design: Figma Requirements: - Proven experience building full-stack web applications using Python and Django - Strong skills in converting Figma designs into responsive, production-ready templates - Solid understanding of REST APIs, ORMs, and secure backend practices - Experience integrating Stripe or other payment platforms - Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code - Familiarity with frontend frameworks (optional) or templating engines like Jinja2 - Experience deploying Django applications (e.g., via Heroku, AWS, or Docker) To apply, please include: - Links to live Django-based websites you’ve developed - The matching Figma design(s) for those websites - A short explanation of your role in each project - Your GitHub profile Only applicants who include all of the above will be considered.
