We have a pricing app built in Excel for a factory of new home windows. The app is used to price orders and post orders to quickbooks. We have been working on adding the functionality of creating production printouts for the factory floor. This would instruct multiple stations on their part of the build. Vinyl cut dimensions, glass cut dimensions, screens, grids, special shapes, etc. What we have produced is not user friendly so we are looking for help to finetune the solution to be more user for the factory floor. The factory currently has 3 window series and 1 sliding patio door series that we need production printouts for. I have all the information in the program now. Some of it needs to be updated. I am an not an employee of the window factory, but am authorized to hire someone externally for this project. I have been working with this customer for over 10 years. I need to have direct communication with the contractor via phone, email and text to discuss progress, process and needs as it develops. The work will be spotty over several months as I will have to work with the employees to implement the new systems and adjust as requested. If all goes well, then I would like to discuss a solution to add drawings of windows to a quote sheet if possible. The file has proprietary information that requires a non disclosure agreement before I can share it.
