C#/.NET Windows Developer for Custom Desktop Application

DUST Identity seeks a C#/.NET Windows developer to build a desktop application for camera control using the legacy DirectShow framework and a custom DLL interface to our scanner hardware. This project also requires using .NET bindings of OpenCV (open source image processing) to implement video processing algorithms based on existing Python code. The application builds on a MS Edge WebView2 component to create an enhanced browsing experience, where a custom camera is used for specific HTML/JavaScript routines included in a web application. What we have: Demonstration application of an MS Edge WebView2 component in a WPF Visual Studio solution that implements a webcam and custom DLL for camera control. Simple DirectShow code that finds our webcam and provides a user interface to select the codec and resolution of the camera. Example Python application that shows how to control the camera control (exposure, gain, white balance, etc) and implement a focusing algorithm using OpenCV. What you bring: * Experience with InstallShield or similar installation software for Windows binaries. * Simple unit tests added to the application that ensure robustness of the code base. * Familiarity with building solutions in Visual Studio for production. * Ability to translate algorithms written in Python into C# implementations of OpenCV. * Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript for adding necessary code to capture and respond to WebView events in the native application.
