Mechanical Engineer with Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) Water Blasting Experience

We are APEX Waterjetting Global, a manufacturer of ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water blasting systems for industrial cleaning and pavement marking removal. We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who understands the design, operation, and maintenance of UHP systems—especially in the 30,000 to 55,000 psi range. Responsibilities: Evaluate and improve UHP spray bars, pump systems, and tooling Provide CAD updates (SolidWorks) Assist with product development (e.g. trailer-mounted systems, robotic systems like StripeBot) Advise on pump integration, nozzle specs, cooling, and flow optimization Ideal Candidate Has: Experience with UHP pumps (e.g. Hughes, Jetstream, NLB, etc.) Familiarity with nozzle design, water flow dynamics, and safety in high-pressure systems Available part-time or on-demand for engineering input Bonus: Understanding of hydraulics and system integration on mobile equipment Experience with ASME/P&ID documentation
