We run a fully remote SEO agency (linkflow.ai) and are looking for an experienced SEO to work directly with clients on their campaigns as well as talk to inbound prospects about our services. We do link building, content strategy, CRO, analytics, and consulting. This position does not build links, we have a separate team for that. We are a growing company, and we operate as a team. There is ample opportunity for advancement and long-term compensation potential for someone who's great at the role and a good fit with our culture (fun, driven, entrepreneurial, detail oriented). We don’t provide local SEO services, so we're looking for someone with experience creating strong results for national or global businesses, and ideally has experience as an in-house SEO. Because this position involves a sales component, you’d earn high commissions on top of your hourly pay and getting better at selling means your own book of clients will grow. This is a long-term part-time position, generally around 10-15 hours/week, but that can vary weekly based on client workload (we don’t expect it will turn into a full-time position but we do want someone who can commit to 10+ hours a week). ** Prior to an interview, selected candidates will be required to submit a short video intro introducing yourself and letting us know why you are interested in a long-term, part-time role. Responsibilities: - Determine effective SEO strategies for our clients and set goals around keywords, pages, rankings, and conversions - Take the lead on SEO consulting projects for clients (this means creating a plan, assisting the clients in executing the plan, and fielding questions regarding it) - Conduct comprehensive SEO audits including technical, content, internal linking and more. - In-depth quarterly reporting for clients on the progress we've made on SEO goals, identifying areas for improvement, and the next steps to get even better results. - Communicate client details to our link operations team on Slack & Google Sheets regarding anchor text selection and pages for link building - Hold prospect intro calls via Zoom to sell our SEO services, and convert leads into ongoing retainer clients Expectations: - Be active on our Slack channel and fairly responsive - doesn’t have to be immediate, but ideally you can reply within a couple of hours. - Join us on 1-2 regularly scheduled weekly team meetings as well as client and prospect meetings. - Be available to respond to client questions related to their SEO strategy and website within ~24 hours. - Because there are recurring client meetings each week, you should have consistent availability during normal working hours in a US-based timezone. - Be professional and kick ass at SEO (No scrubs!) Skills/Experience we’re looking for: - At least 3 years of national SEO experience, ideally in-house or at another agency - Someone who truly loves SEO, stays on top of trends in the industry, etc. - Excellent understanding of overall SEO - both on-page and off page, with proven experience getting results for clients. - Solid understanding of link building. - Knowledge of GSC, GA4, relevant SEO tools, especially Ahrefs (we use that one a lot) - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - Authoritative when speaking about SEO. We want our clients to listen to you and trust what you have to say. - Able to speak about complex SEO subjects, quick on your feet in both sales and client conversations. - Gets things done on time (if you say X will be good to go on Thursday, it gets done by Thursday).
