Job Description: I'm looking for a talented video editor to take on a one-time project and help bring my story to life in a docuseries-style YouTube video titled: “How I Built a Sports Tech App (From Idea to 7 Figures)” Project Overview: This video will showcase the journey of building my company, Athlete Squared — a sports tech app that grew from a simple idea into a 7-figure business. The final product should feel like an episode from a high-quality docuseries: cinematic, story-driven, and engaging from start to finish. What I’ll Provide: ~35 minutes of raw A-roll footage (various angles) Additional B-roll footage (lifestyle, product shots, app clips, etc.) A reference video that captures the exact vibe and pacing I’m aiming for (attached after hire) What I Need From You: A polished 6–10 minute final video Strong sense of storytelling and pacing Clean, modern editing with smooth transitions and solid flow Basic sound design and background music selection Ability to incorporate text overlays, captions, or light motion graphics if needed Ideal Candidate: Experience editing docuseries-style or founder story content Portfolio with strong long-form edits (please include examples!) Ability to work efficiently and creatively with the provided footage If this sounds like a fit, I’d love to see your work and hear why you’d be a good match for the project. Let’s make something powerful.
