Looking for a Captionist with 10 years experience for the following: Real-Time captioning services for up to 2000 minutes of live event coverage annually. Producer will notify the contractor of needed service 24 or more hours prior to event. Seeking professional captioner who will connect remotely to a Captioning Encoder located remotely and caption the spoken audio as it is being broadcast including punctuation and industry standard captioning symbols (music, etc.) Connect via a standard telephone connection to listen to the broadcast audio stream and simultaneously connect to a standard telephone connection data stream. Events average in length from 60 to 120 minutes. Must be able to connect to and perform all captioning services through a captioning encoder located remotely. Captioner must dial-in, connect, and provide a test caption string no later than ten minutes prior to the start of an event. Contractor must be able to connect to and caption to an Evertz HD9084 Encoder. Please provide resume when responding. Resumes with less than 10 years experience will not be responded to.
