Landscape Architect/Designer for Sustainable Front and Backyard Design

We are looking for a knowledgeable and creative landscape designer to help us design and lay out both our front and backyard in Houston, Texas. Our primary goal is to create a low-maintenance outdoor space that incorporates drought-tolerant, native plants well-suited to the local climate and capable of withstanding seasonal changes. We want the design to thoughtfully define functional spaces—such as seating areas, pathways, or garden beds—while maintaining an overall cohesive and attractive layout. The ideal candidate will have experience working with native Texas plant species and a strong understanding of sustainable, water-efficient landscaping principles. We’re seeking someone who can guide us through the planning process, provide detailed planting and layout plans, preliminary and final renderings, and offer suggestions on hardscape elements where appropriate. Experience in residential design, a collaborative mindset, and familiarity with the Houston/Texas climate are important.
