Primary responsibilities include the following: -Filing legal documents with courts and government agencies -Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts -Managing attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating court dates -Maintaining and organizing case files, correspondence, and other legal records -Communicating with clients, court personnel, witnesses, and other legal professionals -Handling incoming calls and emails, and responding or directing them appropriately -Conducting basic legal research and gathering relevant case information -Assisting with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and documents -Ensuring confidentiality and security of all legal and client-related information
