Job Title: Webmaster for Emerging Health & Wellness Brand (Audit + Ongoing Support) Job Description: We are a small but growing health and wellness CBD brand seeking a talented and detail-oriented webmaster to help us optimize our website and ensure its long-term success. We want to start with a free audit to assess the current state of our site and identify areas that need attention. We are sure there are many things happening on the back end that we aren't even aware of. Based on your findings, we’d like you to provide an actionable bullet list of improvements we can gradually implement, with the goal of optimizing the back end of our website for better performance, security, and traffic growth. We are looking for someone who can work with us on one project at a time to have a noticeable impact on the health of our website and drive more traffic. The ideal candidate will be able to identify key opportunities, implement effective strategies, and help us build long-term growth. Key Responsibilities: Free Website Audit: Provide a thorough, detailed audit of our website, identifying current issues and areas for improvement (e.g., site speed, mobile optimization, SEO, broken links, security, etc.). Actionable Recommendations: Offer a clear, prioritized list of actionable steps we can take to improve our site’s performance. This list should be easy to understand, and we’ll tackle improvements gradually. Implement Solutions: As we go through the list, we’ll want you to help implement changes one step at a time, ensuring each update has a measurable impact on site health, performance, and traffic. Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing guidance as needed for future updates, changes, and improvements to ensure our site remains optimized and competitive. Monitor and Report: Help us track the progress of each project and measure its impact on site traffic, user experience, and overall health. Qualifications: Proven experience as a webmaster or similar role, with a solid understanding of website optimization (SEO, UX, security, etc.). Strong technical skills with knowledge of website platforms (Shopify). Ability to identify and resolve technical issues that may impact site performance, security, and SEO. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts in simple terms for a non-technical team. A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a focus on driving growth and results. Preferred Skills: Experience in the health and wellness industry is a plus but not required. Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to help us track improvements and measure success. Ability to handle small, incremental changes with a big-picture mindset for long-term growth. Compensation: We are looking to start with a budget-friendly arrangement, but we believe the right candidate can deliver significant growth for our brand. As we grow together, we’re open to expanding the scope of work and potentially offering more long-term, ongoing projects, with the opportunity to become our go-to webmaster.
