WordPress Developer (WooCommerce & Core Web Vitals Specialist) We are looking for an experienced USA-based, English-speaking remote developer to maintain ongoing support for our WordPress eCommerce website. The ideal candidate will have expertise in optimizing Core Web Vitals, maintaining WooCommerce functionality, and ensuring the overall performance of the website. This role requires both routine maintenance and the ability to address urgent technical issues as they arise. Responsibilities: Core Web Vitals Optimization: Assess and improve the website’s Core Web Vitals scores, focusing on loading performance, interactivity, and visual stability. WooCommerce Support & Maintenance: Regular updates and troubleshooting for WooCommerce plugins, product pages, checkout processes, and user experience improvements. Routine Website Maintenance: Perform ongoing updates to WordPress, themes, and plugins to ensure security, compatibility, and performance. 911 Support: Be available to address urgent technical issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime or disruptions. Requirements: Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development. Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization techniques. Experience with performance testing tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTMetrix. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Availability for urgent issues and routine maintenance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must be based in the USA and fluent in English. Nice to Have: Familiarity with advanced caching techniques and CDN integration. Experience with custom plugin development or third-party API integrations. Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
