Law School Workbook Formatter – Microsoft Word Design + Accessibility + Educational Layout

We are producing a new series of law school study workbooks and are hiring four contractors to complete a trial project. Each contractor will use existing, organized content to build two workbook-style PDFs in Microsoft Word for Civil Procedure. This is not a content creation job. You will receive all materials—outlines, practice questions, and a clear project plan. Your role is to build clean, accessible, well-formatted workbooks that support effective study and review. Each contractor will submit two workbooks. Based on the quality, usability, formatting, and turnaround time, we will offer the full project (9ish additional subjects) to the best-performing candidate(s). What You’ll Create: Workbook A – Topic-Based Breakdown: A structured workbook that follows the Civil Procedure outline topic by topic, integrating related practice questions into each section. Workbook B – Practice-Only Workbook: A comprehensive collection of Civil Procedure short-answer and multiple-choice questions, organized and formatted for ease of practice and review. Each workbook will exceed 100 pages, with the practice-focused version significantly longer. Key Requirements: Expert-level Microsoft Word skills, including: Consistent use of styles, headings, page layouts, footnotes, and document navigation tools Efficient handling of long-form documents (100+ pages) Accessibility experience, including: Proper use of heading structure and alt text Exporting to fully accessible PDFs Familiarity with Microsoft Word’s accessibility checker and PDF tagging Attention to detail and a strong sense of layout, spacing, and visual clarity Experience creating educational or workbook-style materials is a strong plus Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow a project brief precisely Comfortable working independently to meet a deadline What We’re Evaluating: Consistency, clarity, and professional formatting Ability to produce accessible documents from start to finish Efficiency in completing large-format work without sacrificing quality Sensibility in organizing complex material for student usability Timeline & Compensation: We will send out the materials to qualified candidates as they apply. Final deliverables will be due within 2–3 weeks of assignment. This is a paid trial project. The contractor(s) producing the strongest, most efficient output will be invited to take on the full project, which includes additional workbooks across many law school subjects.
