LOGO REFINEMENT & COMPLETE BRAND KIT FOR SPORTS CARD INVESTMENT COMPANY (Please see attached PDF for a formatted version of this job description) ABOUT US: Golden Bear Cards is a startup in the sports trading card industry founded by a repeat entrepreneur and successful finance professional. We're focused on strategic card investments and curated collections, positioned at the intersection of sports passion and investment strategy with our tagline "Turning Cardboard Into Gold." PROJECT OVERVIEW: We have initial logo concepts ready and need a talented designer to refine our visual identity and develop a complete brand kit that communicates our premium, investment-focused approach while maintaining the passion of card collecting. SCOPE OF WORK: We need a complete branding package that works across digital platforms (website, eBay store, social media) and print materials (business cards, packaging, thank you cards). DELIVERABLES: REFINED LOGO PACKAGE - Based on our existing concepts featuring a golden bear theme - Full vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG) - Multiple variations (horizontal, vertical, icon-only) - Favicon and app icon versions COMPREHENSIVE BRAND GUIDELINES - Color palette implementation (Berkeley Blue #003262, California Gold #FDB515, plus appropriate accents) - Typography recommendations and implementation - Visual element guidelines (geometric patterns, whitespace usage, etc.) - Brand voice guidelines BRAND ASSETS - Social media profile images and headers (Instagram, Facebook) - Email signature design - Business card design (front and back) - Basic stationery elements OUR BRAND IDENTITY: - Position: Premium sports card investment service with collector's passion - Voice: Professional but approachable, analytical yet passionate - Design Preference: Clean, premium aesthetic with subtle investment-themed visual elements - Current Tagline Options: "Turning Cardboard Into Gold" or "Beyond the Pack: Strategic Card Investing" IDEAL CANDIDATE: - Intermediate experience in logo design and brand development - Portfolio showcasing cohesive brand systems - Understanding of sports collectibles market aesthetics is a plus - Ability to balance professional/investment feel with collector enthusiasm - Strong communication skills and receptiveness to feedback BUDGET & TIMELINE: - $20-30/hour based on experience - Estimated 15-25 hours total - Completion within 2-3 weeks We're excited to work with a designer who can bring our vision to life and help establish Golden Bear Cards as a distinctive brand in the sports card investment space!
