Job Posting: Microsoft Power Automate Consultant Job Title: Microsoft Power Automate Consultant (Sales Ops Workflow Automation) Location: Remote Type: Contract / Project-Based Estimated Duration: 4–6 weeks (with potential for ongoing work) Start Date: ASAP About the Project: We are a growing advisory firm looking to streamline and automate a key internal workflow: the sales rep pricing request process. Currently, sales reps submit pricing requests via email with attachments, and our pricing team manually extracts data, tracks status in Asana, and communicates with suppliers via Outlook. We want to automate this using Microsoft Power Automate across the following tools: - Asana (task creation and updates from submitted forms) - Salesforce (custom object population from PDF data) - Slack (team notifications for key events) - Outlook (managing shared inbox communication) - Dropbox (for file storage and organization) - PDF processing (extracting meter data from utility invoices) Project Goals: 1. Replace ad hoc pricing requests with Asana Forms, connected to Power Automate to trigger workflows. 2. Automatically extract key data from uploaded PDF invoices and insert it into a Salesforce custom object. 3. Generate automated pricing request emails to suppliers, formatted using data from the form and invoice. 4. Monitor a shared inbox (Outlook) for supplier pricing replies and route them to the correct Asana task or Slack channel. 5. Notify the sales rep in Slack and/or Asana when supplier pricing is returned and deliverables are ready. Requirements: - Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate - Strong knowledge of Asana API / Form integrations - Experience working with Salesforce custom objects and connectors - Familiarity with Slack notifications and messaging via Power Automate - Comfort with Dropbox API or cloud file storage automation - Ability to extract data from PDFs (via Power Automate, AI Builder, or other tools) - Strong documentation and communication skills Bonus if you have: - Experience in energy, utilities, or procurement industries - Experience using OCR tools like Adobe PDF Services, Form Recognizer, or AI Builder - Built workflows for sales ops or pricing operations before To Apply: Please include: - A brief summary of your relevant experience - Examples of similar Power Automate workflows you've built - Your availability and estimated project timeline - Hourly or fixed project rate
