We are seeking an experienced live sound engineer to manage audio for a jazz concert at a church in Yorba Linda, CA on April 12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live sound mixing, particularly in a concert setting. Responsibilities include confirming set up of sound equipment and use of 12-channel console, conducting sound checks, and ensuring optimal audio quality throughout the performance. The band is a four-person jazz ensemble (upright base, piano, violin, drums) with separate voice mic for speaking only. If you have a passion for live music and the technical skills to deliver an excellent audio experience, we want to hear from you! Sound checks will begin at 3:30 and concert begins at 7 pm. Everything should wrap-up by 9 pm. Local applicants only.
