We’re looking for someone who can bring both structure and soul to our creative process. ⸻ About the Role: We’re hiring an Operations & Project Manager to serve as the backbone of our production workflow and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment, keeps projects moving smoothly, communicates well with clients, and brings clarity to both creative and financial aspects of our work. You’ll manage our video production and post-production workflows using monday.com, act as the primary liaison with nonprofit clients, and oversee company bookkeeping and project finances using QuickBooks. This includes not just tracking or inputting expenses, but managing our books in full—ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and ready for our accountant. This position will begin part-time as soon as possible, with an emphasis on project management. Starting August 1, the role will expand to full-time and include full oversight of financial operations. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Manage production and post-production workflows in monday.com • Coordinate internal timelines, track deliverables, and ensure projects stay on schedule • Serve as the point of contact for clients during the production process—ensuring clear, timely, and collaborative communication • Track project budgets and expenses, and generate internal reports • Manage company bookkeeping and invoicing in QuickBooks, including reconciling accounts and balancing the books for accountant review • Maintain accurate project-level financial records and reporting • Work closely with our team of creatives and editors to align schedules and deliverables • Assist with onboarding new clients and managing intake of creative briefs and contracts • Maintain and improve internal systems to support growth and efficiency ⸻ Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or studio coordination—preferably in a creative or production setting • Experience with monday.com or a similar project management tool • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and full-cycle bookkeeping practices • Excellent communication skills and a client-centered mindset • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously • Emotional intelligence and empathy in working with mission-driven nonprofit clients • Background in video production or creative storytelling • Experience with nonprofits or values-based organizations • Familiarity with cloud-based systems (Monday.com, Google Drive, etc.) ⸻ Compensation: Commensurate with experience and availability. This role begins as a contract position focused on project management, with immediate availability. It will remain part-time through July, and—if mutually aligned—transition to a permanent, full-time position in August that includes full oversight of company and project-level financials.
