Seeking a creative, detail-oriented Film Set Designer (or interior designer with set experience) to help reimagine my office into a space that does double duty: 1) Firstly a professional, functional workspace by day. 2) Secondly visually distinct filming set for social media content by night Project Goals: Design a dual-purpose office that looks credible and professional for daily work, while also functioning as a warm, intimate filming environment. Create 2–3 distinct zones for filming different types of content (e.g. monologues, interviews, voiceover shots), all within a single room. Minimize daily setup time – ideally, 95% of lighting and visual elements should stay in place, so I can hit “record” with minimal prep. Incorporate some of the existing furniture (standing desk, office chair, bookshelves) while layering in new elements for mood, depth, and visual interest. I’m just starting to produce video content and want my set to have a unique, polished aesthetic that stands out—without compromising the room’s everyday utility. About Me & the Project: This office makeover supports my project, Art of Traction. Art of Traction exists because many people feel like the old instructions for living a good life no longer apply—and wish someone had updated the rules. In today’s economy, what used to be the finish line (college degree, steady job, promotion) is now just the starting line. This project offers a modern playbook: practical steps to help people gain traction in their career, business, and life—and build a future they actually control."
