Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and technical accounting, with proficiency in accounting software such as Xero. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting account analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of financial management, including forecasting, and reporting for our multi-division company. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in account analysis. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to maintain the integrity of financial data. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes. Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial performance and strategic planning. Ensure compliance with tax compliance and accounting standards. Utilize financial software to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Develop and Lead the finance team in working with clients to provide bookkeeping and tax services. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and technical accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, or other financial software applications. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for account analysis and reconciliation tasks. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
