Apparel Illustrator for Adventure/Philosophy/Flirty Graphic Tees (Ongoing Collaboration) About Wyrd Wear Wyrd Wear is a premium graphic apparel brand inspired by the old Norse concept of Wyrd—fate not written in stone but woven by our choices and experiences. Our designs explore the threads that shape identity: adventure, introspection, connection, and desire. We’re building a growing line of emotionally rich, bold, and sometimes cheeky t-shirts—and we’re looking for an illustrator or graphic artist to join us on that journey through an ongoing creative collaboration. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a creative partner—not just a vendor—to help bring our visual concepts to life. Most of our shirts are scene-based or text-driven, with a clean, gritty, or emotionally layered aesthetic. Some are poetic. Some are mischievous. All of them aim to resonate. You’ll Thrive in This Role If You: Tell strong visual stories through illustration Are fluent in metaphor, mood, and subtle humor Can compose clean, print-ready graphics for apparel Are comfortable working from brief concepts and refining with feedback Deliver reliable time estimates, and do not exceed them by more than 20% without approval Communicate clearly and want to build something meaningful together Our Themes: Adventure: motorcycles, camping, hiking, skydiving, road trips Philosophy & Identity: introspection, emotional symbolism, solitude Flirty & Fun: cheeky double entendres. Circular Series: scenes framed by a symbolic rope and ouroboros with subtle “Wyrd Wear” branding Future products may expand into stickers, mugs, and posters. For now, we’re focused on shirts. Work Expectations: Deliver high-resolution, print-ready files (preferably PNG and vector format) Format artwork into standard shirt layout templates (e.g., 12"x16", 300 DPI, transparent background) Create or use drag-and-drop templates for applying designs across shirt sizes (S–3XL) to ensure proper scaling and placement All artwork—including rough drafts—is exclusively licensed to Wyrd Wear and may not be reused, reposted, or resold Maintain agreed-upon delivery timelines within a 20% margin unless otherwise approved Compensation: We're open to both hourly and fixed-price proposals. We may start hourly during early collaboration, then shift to fixed-price once a rhythm is established.
