Who We Are: We’re a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth. Our online presence needs to reflect the passion, creativity, and care we bring to our work every day. That’s where you come in. The Role: We’re looking for a short-term Website Designer who can bring both art and function to life. You’ll lead the creation of a visually striking, easy-to-navigate, and deeply engaging website. This isn’t just about looks—it’s about creating an experience that feels affirming, accessible, and intuitive for every visitor. What You’ll Do: Design and develop a responsive, user-friendly website that reflects our identity and mission Create thoughtful layouts, visual elements, and intuitive navigation to enhance user experience Bring our content to life through beautiful typography, strong graphics, and consistent branding Implement front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (bonus points for animation or accessibility know-how) Collaborate with our team to understand our goals and translate them into impactful design Ensure the site is optimized for both desktop and mobile, with attention to speed and usability We’re Looking for Someone Who: Is skilled in UI/UX design, with an eye for detail and a heart for justice Can turn a vision into wireframes and then into a fully functional site Knows how to code clean, accessible front-end interfaces Has experience working with nonprofits or community-based orgs (nice to have, not required) Is self-motivated, deadline-driven, and collaborative Can complete the project on a short-term contract (timeline negotiable based on scope) Timeline & Budget: This is a contract role with a April 28th start date.
