Introduction This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for the development of a wayfinding application utilizing Google See Inside technology (or equivalent ladybug camera imagery) and Google AI. This application will enable users to navigate indoor and outdoor environments by leveraging 360-degree imagery and advanced AI capabilities. 2. Project Objectives Develop a mobile (or web) application that provides intuitive wayfinding capabilities. Integrate 360-degree imagery from Google See Inside (or ladybug camera) to create immersive virtual environments. Utilize Google AI (e.g., Cloud Vision API, Vertex AI) for object recognition, scene understanding, and path planning. Enable users to search for specific locations or objects within the virtual environment. Provide turn-by-turn navigation instructions based on the user's location and destination. Create a user-friendly interface that is accessible and intuitive for all users. Demonstrate a functional prototype of the wayfinding application. 3. Scope of Work Data Acquisition and Processing: Capture 360-degree imagery of the target environment using Google See Inside technology or a ladybug camera. Process and stitch the captured imagery to create seamless panoramic views. Geotag and map the imagery to create a spatial representation of the environment. If using a Ladybug camera, create the pipeline to upload and process the data into a format that can be used by Google Cloud. AI Integration: Integrate Google Cloud Vision API for object recognition and scene understanding. Utilize Vertex AI for custom model training (if necessary) to identify specific objects or landmarks. Develop algorithms for path planning and navigation based on AI-generated insights. Employ Google Cloud's Spatial API to assist in geolocating the user within the 360 imagery. Application Development: Develop a mobile (or web) application with a user-friendly interface. Implement a 360-degree viewer that allows users to explore the virtual environment. Integrate search functionality to locate specific locations or objects. Develop a navigation module that provides turn-by-turn instructions. Implement user location tracking within the 360 imagery. Create a method of updating the maps, and AI data, to keep the application current. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the application.
