You’ll work closely with the channel’s host, a seasoned architect and general contractor, to craft compelling content that documents a high-end home transformation. This is a hands-on role for someone who can script engaging content, direct on-site shoots, capture high-quality footage, and collaborate with editors to ensure polished, high-retention videos. The ideal candidate is a storyteller, producer, and videographer all in one—someone who understands the YouTube platform, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can turn a complex construction project into must-watch content. Key Responsibilities: ​•​Content Development & Scripting: Research and draft engaging scripts and video outlines that balance education, entertainment, and storytelling for an audience interested in real estate, architecture, and home renovation. ​•​Production & Direction: Be on-site at the construction project to direct, shoot, and produce high-quality video content, ensuring strong visual storytelling. ​•​Videography: Capture high-quality footage using professional equipment, including establishing shots, process shots, and interviews. ​•​Coordination & Scheduling: Plan shoot days, ensuring all elements (lighting, sound, shot lists) are prepped and ready. ​•​Post-Production Oversight: Work closely with video editors to guide the edit, provide feedback, and ensure a high-retention final product optimized for YouTube. ​•​Publishing & Optimization: Assist with writing video titles, descriptions, and thumbnails to maximize audience engagement and SEO. ​•​Trend Awareness: Stay updated on YouTube trends, construction/home renovation content, and audience engagement tactics to improve content performance. Who You Are: ✅ A storyteller – You know how to structure content to keep viewers engaged from start to finish. ✅ A hands-on producer – You can shoot, direct, and guide an engaging production. ✅ A YouTube expert – You understand what makes a YouTube video perform (hooks, pacing, thumbnails, retention strategies). ✅ Highly organized – You can juggle multiple tasks, from scripting to filming to editing coordination, and meet deadlines. ✅ Tech-savvy – You’re comfortable with cameras, lighting, audio, and video editing workflows. Requirements: ​•​2+ years of experience producing YouTube or digital content (real estate, architecture, or home improvement experience is a plus!). ​•​Proficiency in video production, shooting, and basic directing. ​•​Familiarity with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to guide and review edits. ​•​Strong understanding of YouTube analytics, SEO, and audience engagement strategies. ​•​Ability to collaborate with editors, designers, and other creatives to bring content to life. ​•​Experience working on-location in fast-paced environments. ​•​A passion for real estate, architecture, home renovation, or storytelling is a huge plus!
