Audio and Video Editor Needed for Mental Health Podcast and Youtube Channel

We are seeking a skilled audio and video editor to edit our weekly video and audio podcast, as well as other long form widescreen videos. Your work will be instrumental in increasing engagement and growing our brand’s online presence in the mental health and wellness space. Responsibilities: Take our weekly video podcast recording (Length 15-45 minutes) and use this footage to create the following: - An audio only podcast with intro and outro music. (15-45 minutes) - A long form video version of the podcast (15-45 Minutes) - A condensed version of the video podcast (8-12 minutes) - Vertical shorts pulled from the full length video (30 seconds to 3 min) Requirements - You must have Adobe Creative Suite - Basic color grading skills. You'll sometimes be working with Canon Log 3 footage - Ensure all edits align with our current editing style, branding, and music. - Edit in Premiere and Audition, to produce polished content. - Add captions and other elements to videos to increase accessibility and engagement. - Add B-Roll and other elements where needed based on our notes. - AI can be used to find Hooks for the vertical video. But you CANNOT use AI to piece together vertical videos. These will need to be done by finding the best content in the long videos and knowing how to piece together a story. Ideal Candidate: - Native English speaker. You must be able to identify the best parts of the videos and know what to cut and what to keep. - Being able to tell a story with video - Experience editing short-form videos for social media. - Podcast and Audio editing experience - Ability to follow precise directions - Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. - Knowledge of how successful Youtube videos are structured.
