Job Description: We're a growing CPG (consumer packaged goods) company looking for a reliable, detail-obsessed QuickBooks Online bookkeeper to take over core accounting tasks and help us stay financially organized as we scale. You’ll work closely with ownership to maintain clean books, input vendor invoices, categorize expenses properly, and enter monthly inventory valuations. You should be someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and clear processes. This is a part-time, long-term role with room to grow. Responsibilities: - Enter vendor invoices, bills, and estimates in QuickBooks with zero errors - Categorize all expenses correctly using our existing chart of accounts - Input monthly inventory journal entries (stock data provided by us) - Maintain a clean, organized QuickBooks environment - Save key invoices and receipts in Google Drive using our folder structure - Follow up with vendors via email (from an accounting@ company address) for missing invoices or payment details - Provide a simple monthly summary of what’s been completed and anything outstanding Requirements: - Proven experience with QuickBooks Online - Strong attention to detail—accuracy matters more than speed - Familiarity with inventory accounting and journal entries - Excellent organizational skills and file management habits - Professional, clear written communication - Experience with e-commerce or CPG brands is a plus (but not required) - Comfortable working independently and protecting sensitive financial data Logistics: - Part-time, flexible hours (estimated 2–4 hrs/week to start) - Regular check-in summaries - Long-term role with potential for expansion - You’ll be provided SOPs, inventory data, email access, and support To Apply, please include: - A brief note introducing yourself and your QuickBooks experience - Any experience working with inventory-based or e-commerce businesses - Your hourly rate and availability - A sample report or brief example of your bookkeeping style
