Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced API Integration Developer to connect our Zenoti system with our GoHighLevel platform. The goal of this project is to achieve real-time synchronization of customer data, appointment scheduling, payments, and marketing automation between Zenoti and GoHighLevel. By integrating these two systems, we aim to streamline operations, maintain consistent data across platforms, and trigger marketing workflows automatically based on real-time events. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Zenoti and GoHighLevel APIs and a strong understanding of webhooks and automation workflows. Key Responsibilities: Real-Time Data Sync: Implement and maintain real-time synchronization of customer profiles, appointment bookings, payment records, and marketing automation triggers between Zenoti and GoHighLevel. Webhooks & APIs: Set up and manage webhooks and API endpoints to ensure smooth data transfer. Develop automation workflows so that actions in one system (e.g., a new appointment in Zenoti) immediately reflect in the other (e.g., creating/updating a contact or campaign in GoHighLevel). Data Security & Compliance: Ensure all data exchanged between systems is secure and compliant with relevant standards. Handle sensitive customer information and payment data with best practices in encryption and security. Testing & Optimization: Thoroughly test the integration in real-world scenarios to ensure seamless operation. Troubleshoot any issues or errors that arise, and optimize the workflows for speed and reliability. Provide ongoing tweaks and improvements for stable performance. Requirements: Proficiency in API Development: Strong experience in developing and integrating with RESTful APIs. Ability to design robust integration logic for data exchange. Experience with Zenoti & GoHighLevel: Hands-on experience using the Zenoti API and GoHighLevel API (or similar CRM/marketing platform APIs). Understanding of the data models and authentication methods for both platforms. Webhooks & Real-Time Sync: Solid understanding of webhooks and event-driven data sync. Proven ability to set up webhook listeners and process data in real time. Programming Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, or similar) to build and maintain the integration code. Clean coding practices and ability to handle errors/exceptions gracefully. Documentation Ability: Ability to document the integration process clearly. This includes detailing API endpoints used, data flow diagrams, webhook configurations, and any custom scripts for future reference. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to debug integration issues and ensure data integrity across both systems. Preferred Qualifications: CRM/Scheduling Integration Experience: Previous experience integrating CRM or scheduling software (especially connecting platforms similar to Zenoti and GoHighLevel) is highly desirable. Cloud & Security Best Practices: Familiarity with cloud platforms or middleware for integrations (such as AWS, Azure, or Zapier) and knowledge of security best practices for data integration (encryption, OAuth, etc.). Compliance Knowledge: Awareness of data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI) that might apply when handling customer and payment data. Strong Portfolio/Track Record: A proven track record of successfully completed integration projects (Upwork projects or external) with positive feedback. Project Timeline: We anticipate the project will be completed over an estimated X-week timeline (to be refined with the chosen developer). Key milestones will include an initial planning and design phase, development of the core integration and workflows, thorough testing/debugging, and final deployment. We will work with you to set realistic milestones – for example, completing customer and appointment data sync early in the project, followed by payment integration and marketing automation triggers, then a full system test before go-live. Timeline adjustments can be made based on your expert input to ensure a smooth development process.
