Videography at City Hall on April 4 & 9

We have two events on April 4 and April 9. We are currently primarily looking to have someone record an event on April 9. The engagement may be between 4-8 hours (at an hourly rate). The event involves LA Mayor, students, and other stakeholders related to LA's BEST Afterschool Enrichment Program. The engagement with the Mayor will be less than an hour. - Before that engagement, we would like capture b-roll of students etc. at the city hall and a few interviews. - During the interaction with the Mayor we will need comprehensive coverage. - After the meeting with the Mayor, we will light up City Hall and that also needs to be covered. *(Need crisp, cleaned, and labeled 4k footage, interviews recorded using a lapel mic, some additional lighting and reflectors if possible. Ability to record in relative low-light is a big priority!) Rundown of Activity: April 9: LA’s BEST Day at City Hall Location: City Hall Time: 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM Purpose: Student-led advocacy meetings with the Mayor and City Council members to share firsthand why afterschool funding is essential for families with the greatest needs. Audience: Mayor Karen Bass, Councilmembers, LA’s BEST students, Area Program Staff Highlights: - Group photo with the Mayor - Student meetings with city officials - Advocacy messaging tied to the upcoming City budget April 9: Light Up City Hall Reception Location: Outside of City Hall Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM Purpose: Celebrate LA’s BEST’s legacy and advocacy efforts as City Hall lights up in LA’s BEST colors. Audience: LA’s BEST staff, Advocacy Cohort, invited guests Highlights: - Lighting ceremony and group photo - Informal reception - Recognition of advocacy contributions
