Now, we’re looking for a strategic, detail-driven Fractional E-Commerce Accountant & Financial Advisor to help steer the financial side of our growth. About the Role: This is a high-impact role for someone who understands the fast-paced, complex nature of multi-channel e-commerce businesses. You’ll work directly with company leadership to guide financial strategy, oversee our bookkeeping team, and ensure all financial operations are aligned and optimized across sales channels and global partners. Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight & Leadership Audit and manage monthly financial reports Oversee and collaborate with internal and offshore bookkeepers Lead budget planning and forecasting efforts Help prepare financials for tax season and work with tax professionals E-Commerce Channel Reporting Integrate and interpret financial data across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify, and wholesale/distribution partners Analyze gross profit, net profit, COGS, and fees per channel Build and maintain detailed P&Ls for each revenue stream Operational & Strategic Finance Work closely with leadership to streamline financial reporting and decision-making processes Join high-level meetings with partners like Amazon, Walmart, and international distributors to provide financial guidance and context Help develop revenue and profitability projections for partnerships and product expansions Provide general financial advice to support growth and sustainability Team Management & Training Train, support, and oversee offshore bookkeeping team to ensure accuracy and consistency Establish SOPs and financial workflows to support scale Ideal Candidate Has: Proven experience as a fractional CFO, senior accountant, or controller in e-commerce Deep understanding of multi-channel retail (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, eBay, etc.) Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and e-commerce accounting tools (A2X, TaxJar, etc.) Background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders U.S.-based with flexibility for occasional meetings during business hours Bonus Points For: Experience with consumer goods or sports brands Familiarity with inventory accounting and COGS reconciliation CPA certification or tax prep experience Previous involvement in international business or partnerships Why Guardian Baseball?
