Description:

We are seeking an experienced PR professional to support the launch of an upcoming research report. The objective is to maximize visibility and media coverage through a compelling press release, strategic media outreach, and wire distribution. Responsibilities: • Assistance with developing a professional, polished press release announcing the report’s key findings and insights. • Collaborate with our internal marketing and research teams to finalize messaging and quotes. • Coordinate the distribution of the press release via a major wire service, including formatting, keyword tagging, and ensuring visibility across financial, business, and technology news feeds. • Proactively pitch the story to relevant journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure earned media coverage. • Provide a media outreach tracker, showing outreach efforts and responses. • Monitor and report on media coverage and press release performance. Deliverables: • Final press release (ready for approval and distribution) • Media pitch list (with outlet names, journalist contacts, and pitch status) • Proof of wire distribution • Coverage summary and metrics report (within 2 weeks of release) Timeline: • Start: May • Media outreach and tracking: begins at distribution and continues for 2–3 weeks Requirements: • Proven experience writing and pitching B2B press releases • Established media relationships and pitch success in at least one of the following sectors: o Mortgage and lending o Financial services o AI and emerging technology o Business and tech publications (e.g., TechCrunch, Forbes, CNBC, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Wired)
