I am seeking an experienced patent attorney or registered patent agent to assist with consulting, reviewing, and refining my patent application drafts and drawings. The focus is on hardware innovations related to keyboard technology. Scope of Work: Patentability & Claims: Help strengthen patent claims and refine wording for broad and enforceable protection. Filing Strategy: Provide advice on the best filing strategy (provisional vs. non-provisional, PCT, etc.), aligning with my broader patent strategy, which prioritizes strong, enforceable claims that cover both functional and design aspects, ensuring broad yet defensible protection. Consultation: Answer any patent-related questions and ensure the application is legally sound. Review & Feedback: Provide expert analysis and feedback on my drafted patent application, ensuring compliance with USPTO (or other relevant) standards. Technical Drawings: Evaluate and refine existing patent drawings to ensure they meet formal requirements. Ideal Candidate: Registered patent attorney or patent agent (preferably with USPTO or equivalent). Experience in hardware patents, input devices, or consumer electronics is a plus. Strong knowledge of utility patents, claim drafting, and patent drawings. Detail-oriented and skilled in legal writing. Must be immediately available to begin work upon selection.
