Context: Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) have consistent needs for communication resources with design elements, as well as consistent pain points caused by lacking the proper skills, tools, and talent to efficiently create resources. From an Enterprise standard, each ERG also creates varying levels of quality in their resources, with very different levels of brand standards. There is an opportunity for economies of scale to provide a resource that gives all of the ERGs access to brand standards, templates, and simple design tools will increase the quality of end-products, level the playing field for consistent brand identity, and also free up leaders to use their time on key needs. Deliverable: A Canva account that is shared between all ERGs, as well as other key enterprise stakeholders, that will house brand guides for each ERG, basic templates that can be used, as well as access to Canva’s user-friendly design resources. Each ERG will have 3-4 account holders who will have access to their account, with the account administrators being the Enterprise Talent team. Timing: • Phase 1: Identify designer to help build out the Canva account. • Phase 2: Begin a pilot with two ERGs by mid-April (APEN and LHN). This will allow APEN to utilize the account for their AAPI month preparation. • Phase 3: Pending Phase 1, determine timeline for integrating the remaining 6 ERGs. Branding: Utilize ITW brand guidelines, Employee Experience brand guidelines, as well as existing brand identity/logos for each ERG as baseline. Supplemental assets: Photo libraries for each ERG Hourly rate and experience are negotiable but because of company requirements, any contractor must have LLC or some other business license.
