Overview: York County Community College is seeking a highly skilled WordPress expert with advanced knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to assist with resolving back-end issues. This is a short-term, contract-based opportunity for an experienced freelancer who can troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure seamless integration between WordPress, GA4, and GTM. Responsibilities: - Diagnose and resolve WordPress back-end issues, including plugin conflicts, theme functionality, and database optimizations. - Audit, configure, and troubleshoot Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking issues to ensure accurate reporting. - Set up and optimize Google Tag Manager (GTM) tags, triggers, and variables for enhanced tracking. - Implement event tracking, conversion tracking, and cross-domain tracking. - Optimize website performance and security while ensuring seamless GA4 and GTM functionality. - Provide documentation of work completed and recommendations for best practices. Requirements: - Proven experience working with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development. - Expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setup, troubleshooting, and reporting. - Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) for event tracking and tag configurations. - Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for debugging and implementing tracking scripts. - Ability to work independently, troubleshoot efficiently, and deliver results within a defined timeline. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SEO best practices and site performance optimization. - Familiarity with GDPR compliance and privacy considerations in tracking. - Previous experience working as a freelancer or contractor on similar projects.
