MeasuringU is a growing UX research firm seeking a talented Information Designer for an initial short-term project focused on enhancing the visual communication of our research findings. There is a strong potential for this to evolve into a longer-term contract for a successful and collaborative freelancer. Project: We need an experienced Information Designer to refine existing graphs and research presentations from our team into polished and engaging deliverables for various platforms, including final client presentations and social media (primarily LinkedIn). This project requires someone who is available for weekly feedback and can deliver designs with a fast turnaround. Responsibilities: • Enhance and finalize PowerPoint presentations for clarity, visual impact, and brand consistency. • Refine Excel graphs and charts for better data visualization. • Adapt and optimize research visuals for LinkedIn social media. • Design impactful infographics to communicate key research insights. • Apply strong visual balance, clear visual hierarchy, and effective use of typography and color. • Ensure usability and readability in all visual designs. • Participate in weekly one-on-one feedback sessions. • Provide fast turnaround on design requests. • Collaborate effectively with our UX research team. Requirements: • Proven experience as an Information Designer or similar role. • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with PowerPoint presentations, Excel graphs, LinkedIn social media images, and infographics (based on existing data). • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. • Familiarity with design software for visual enhancement (e.g., Figma, Adobe, Canva). Figma proficiency is a plus. • Excellent understanding of visual design principles and data visualization best practices. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Availability for weekly one-on-one feedback sessions (please indicate your general availability). • Ability to provide fast turnaround on design requests.
