InDesign, Python, and JavaScript Developer Needed to Integrate Label Generator with MongoDB We are looking for a skilled developer with expertise in Adobe InDesign, Python, and JavaScript to integrate our custom InDesign label generator with our MongoDB database. Our app, currently in development, allows customers to order bulk bin labels online. We already have an automated system that generates labels using JavaScript and InDesign. However, we need a developer to bridge the gap between our MongoDB database and our InDesign label generator to automate the process from order submission to final downloadable labels. Project Scope: · Connect our existing JavaScript-based InDesign label generator with our MongoDB database. · Automate the process of retrieving order data from MongoDB, generating labels in InDesign, and providing the customer with a final downloadable product. · Ensure smooth integration between the ordering system and the label generation workflow. · Work with the provided specs from our app developer to ensure compatibility. Ideal Skills & Experience: · Adobe InDesign Scripting (JavaScript, ExtendScript) · Python (for handling data processing and automation) · MongoDB (querying and managing order data) · Experience integrating backend databases with InDesign workflows. · Knowledge of REST APIs (if needed for communication between services). · Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Additional Details: Our system is partially built, so we’re looking for someone who can work with our existing JavaScript-based solution and optimize it. We can provide detailed specs from our app development team and are open to discussing the best approach for seamless automation.
