Amazon AP-API Developer


Project Overview: We need an experienced developer to build an automated system that pulls reporting data from Amazon Vendor Central for multiple brands and stores it in a PostgreSQL database. We're a third-party working on behalf of several brands and need to centralize their Vendor Central data. Key Requirements: Create a system to request, retrieve, and store Amazon Vendor Central reports through SP-API Set up proper OAuth authentication flow for working with multiple brands Design and implement a PostgreSQL database structure to store report data efficiently Develop an automated scheduling system that runs daily to fetch new reports Implement monitoring and error handling to ensure system reliability Technical Skills Required: Experience with Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API), especially Vendor Central reporting Strong Python programming skills PostgreSQL database knowledge Understanding of OAuth authentication flows AWS experience (for deployment) Deliverables: Complete working system for requesting and storing Vendor Central reports Database schema and setup scripts Authentication system for managing multiple brand credentials Documentation for system maintenance and troubleshooting Deployment scripts for AWS or similar cloud infrastructure Project Timeline: Approximately 3-4 weeks Previous experience with Amazon SP-API or similar e-commerce APIs Your approach to implementing proper third-party OAuth authentication Questions you may have about our specific reporting needs
