We are working to level up our AWS Athena-based data warehouse. We've got the data loading using Stitch, key information exposed using dbt sources and models, and now we need someone with experience making dbt and Athena (Presto/Trino) work fast and cost-efficiently for warehouse use. We're working with a fairly small budget of total hours to start, but if we can get a strong foothold I expect a few subsequent projects. Specifically, we'd like to have someone help with: 1. Evolving our existing dbt non-materialized models into incrementally-built Iceberg tables for query speed and cost efficiency 2. Implementing lifecycle rules for the raw Stitch exports to prevent unbounded cost growth 3. Advising on model code reviews and dbt best practices 4. Building an incremental pipeline for long-term reporting from Amplitude analytics data Are you that person? Please get in touch!
