E-Commerce Store Owner Looking for Expert Guidance in Improving Conversion Rate

Hello, I run a home decor Shopify store called Vervain Threads that focuses on selling luxury throw blankets. You can check out the site here: https://vervainthreads.com/ I’m currently mainly driving traffic through Google Shopping Ads and am experimenting with Pinterest Ads. Google Shopping is the more effective approach in terms of sales though so far. My goal is to get to a point where I can convert Google Shopping Ads at a profit and scale it up. However right now, my conversion rate on Google Shopping is around 0.2%, which is far from ideal, and I only get a couple of sales a month. I’m looking for someone with experience running a successful e-commerce store and improving conversion rates, even in a tough economy. Although the market is not great currently, there are still consumers who are spending, and it is my goal to increase my sales to be more consistent and profitable. Currently my focus is on finding an expert who can provide some guidance and help me brainstorm ways to improve my conversion rate and number of sales as opposed to hiring someone else to do all the work. In the short term at least, I would like to learn how to do it myself so that I properly understand it before handing over the reins to someone else. I believe my site looks relatively professional so I’m thinking that one of the issues is a lack of social proof. I currently have email flows setup to offer discounts for reviews but it is still tough to get people to actually leave reviews. I see some bigger sites say they were featured in big newspapers/magazines like NYT/Vogue but that is probably out of the reach for a smaller store with a more limited budget, at least at this stage. The ability to think holistically about the website, Google Ads, and paid marketing in general is important for this job and come up with solutions would be very helpful. As far as next steps go, I plan on chatting with 3-5 people on an introductory call to get to know their background and then going from there with people who seem to be a good match.
