We need a data visualization and data entry specialist skilled in Canva to support an upcoming project analyzing health and economic issues within various communities. This role will use our data to create visually compelling charts and graphics. We will utilize a brand kit for colors and general style. What we need is someone who can commit 30 to 40 hours each week for three months to support data visualization and graphics creation for an ongoing project. Deliverables: Editable charts and graphics created within Canva based on provided public health data, as well as overall project design. We have several reports that will need editing and adjusting. Timeline: We need to begin this work ASAP. Depending on the contractor, this project will last about a month. For the right fit, more work past that timeframe may be available. We'll provide the project background, data, our starting point with current work, multiple examples of work we like, and branding guidelines. The best candidate will: - Speak fluent English - Have extensive data visualization skills - Use Canva regularly for design-based work - Provide examples of Canva-based work How we work: - We utilize Slack for communication and Asana for project management; the expectation is that you'll utilize these as well - We initiate each body of work with a discovery call - We maintain standard hours of work: 10a to 6p EST. At least two-thirds of this work should be completed during that time frame. If you aren't familiar with Canva, this isn't the posting for you. If you don't like data entry, this isn't for you either. Both are key to this project.
