The Sanctuary Wellness Institute is seeking a Digital PR Specialist to join our in-house digital marketing team on a part-time, independent contractor basis. As a Digital PR Specialist, you’ll play a key role in expanding our brand’s reach, developing backlinks for site authority, securing media coverage, and enhancing our online presence. Responsibilities -Develop and implement effective digital PR strategies to increase brand awareness and website authority -Identify and evaluate high-quality opportunities for online press coverage -Develop and tailor compelling pitches for site owners, journalists, editors, and influencers, etc. to secure media placements and brand mentions -Develop and maintain our media contact database and create relevant contact lists for our campaigns -Manage the expert commentary process by actively responding to journalist inquiries on platforms like Qwoted and/or similar services, securing media coverage -Collaborate with our copy, design, and management teams to support content creation, providing input on articles, infographics, and other digital assets -Maintain transparent records of outreach, media mentions, links earned, and overall progress -Attend a weekly SEO and content team meeting via Zoom, scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Requirements -Proven track record of success in digital PR, securing backlinks and media coverage for small to medium-sized businesses or brands. -Experience and expertise in guiding the written content creation process, including identifying high-quality content, spotting weaknesses and editing, and contributing to ideation -Excellent client management and communication skills -Experience using outreach tools and platforms like Qwoted, BuzzStream, BuzzSumo, etc. is a plus -Experience with SEO is preferred
