Seeking an experienced Squarespace designer for website update from 7.0 to 7.1 with Squarespace commerce experience for digital download products and Squarespace Membership areas. Need to have experience with CSS/Code solutions, as well as be familiar with the Squarekicker plug-in, as it is installed and being utilized throughout the new site. The new 7.1 website update has already been started. The website is for a business that provides CV/Resume writing services and CV Templates for the private yacht industry. We need freelancer to: CV Template Digital Products Set Up: Upload and set up new CV Templates digital products and refine product pages. Add CV product images and make improvements to product pages to better suit these products. There are 28 digital products to be uploaded and set up. Download folders are already created and all thumbnail images are done. Need to add product description text (provided) to each product page, add templates to category families, tags, and SEO meta. Have provided sample product folders and thumbnails for review. Page layout and design refinements: Would like designer to review design and flow of the 7.1 website update so far, help with getting it completed within the current design and branding, and make suggestions on possible improvements. Set up and design new About Page. Set up new Blog Post Page with posts and images we will provide. We have images and assets already loaded into the asset folder to use as reference to complete this first stage of the project. Next stage: CV Template Set Up Page: Help with setting up an unlinked page for CV Template set up guides and tutorials that will be a combination of How to GIFs, text instruction, and short video tutorials. Members’ Course and Guide Area: Help with setting up a Members’ area for a Yacht CV Roadmap digital course and guide that will be sold as a stand-alone, and as an add-on for CV Template purchasers with discount. This option needs to be prompted on the Template product pages, and at checkout as well. Connect all links to corresponding pages, and third-party pages/external forms. Set up and test all purchase notifications, and links. Next Stage: Site Migration and SEO: Need to make sure that all necessary URLs and SEO data are mapped from current site, 301 redirects, and Google Console updates are done for the migration to mitigate search rankings and results interruptions. This may require a separate specialist freelancer unless significant experience in this area can be demonstrated. We will connect all commerce functions once new site is ready to go live. If all goes well on this project, we will need help on another related project just afterward. Would like to get flat rate proposal on the different stages, but also would consider combination flat rate and hourly if it made more sense.
