# Position Overview Studebaker Design Company is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. We work with brands—from startups to established corporations—providing art, design, and strategy services to improve and build on communication with their audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and attention to detail, with the ability to take creative direction and build assets or presentations for clients. ## Key Responsibilities - Work with creative direction provided - Create compelling visual designs for print and digital media - Develop visual elements aligning with client brand guidelines - Design marketing materials, presentations, and other visual assets - Create mockups (logos on apparel/signs, illustrations on stickers, etc.) - Prepare final art files and export from Illustrator to various formats (JPG, PNG, SVG) - Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables ## Required Skills - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Express) - Experience with Canva for quick design solutions - Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory - Ability to create professional mockups of designs on various products/materials - Experience developing presentation decks that effectively communicate concepts - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work within established brand guidelines - Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking ## Bonus Skills - Knowledge of print production processes - Motion graphics or animation skills - Photography experience - Experience with UI/UX design ## Selection Process After initial screening, finalists will be asked to complete a PAID design test that includes updating a 4-page presentation with: 1. Cover page updates: Client information and process 2. Process page updates according to provided notes 3. Logo placement in center and in different color with blurred photo background 4.
