Oxbow USA, a specialized marketing agency that partners exclusively with brands in the hunting and fishing industry, is looking for a skilled Short-Form Video Editor to create dynamic content for our clients' social media channels (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). We need an editor who can take raw footage and transform it into engaging, attention-grabbing short videos. Key responsibilities include: Editing video clips into cohesive and compelling short-form narratives (typically under 60 seconds). Adding accurate, well-timed, and visually appealing captions/subtitles. Clipping highlight moments and assembling footage effectively. Crucially, the ideal candidate MUST have a genuine understanding of the hunting and fishing industry. You need to "get" the culture, the visuals, the pacing, and what resonates with an audience passionate about the outdoors. This understanding is key to creating authentic and effective content for our clients. This position will start on a project basis, but for the right candidate who consistently delivers high-quality work and demonstrates a strong understanding of our niche, there is excellent potential for a consistent, long-term working relationship. Requirements: Proven experience editing short-form video content (portfolio demonstrating Reels/TikTok style edits is required). Proficiency in adding engaging and accurate captions/subtitles to videos. Essential: Demonstrable understanding of, and ideally a passion for, the hunting and/or fishing industry.
