Tasks: - implement data format conversion libraries in golang, esp converting proprietary packed-binary data to open standards - build containerized services and portable libraries to support data-driven analysis capabilities Knowledge: - open standards for data formats - experience with parsing and constructing packed binary data formats - test driven development - service-oriented architectures - containers - REST APIs Technical: - high proficiency with golang, C/C++, GitLab CI/CD - proficient with k8s, Linux - familiar with podman (or docker), UML Professional: - troubleshooting deployment and data streaming issues with internal devops, cloud services team - documenting and presenting technical data to dev team and non-technical stakeholders - recent and/or current certification or on-the-job experience with data-driven software development/engineering - 3+ years of golang proficiency with demonstrated proof of depth - US Citizenship required
