We are seeking a Senior React/Next.js/Node.js Developer to optimize and refactor our existing application, ensuring improved performance, maintainability, and scalability. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript best practices. Responsibilities: Analyze the current application structure and identify areas for optimization. Refactor existing React and Next.js components to enhance performance and reusability. Improve server-side rendering (SSR) and static generation (SSG) for better efficiency. Optimize API endpoints and database interactions to reduce latency and enhance scalability. Implement best practices in state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API). Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Collaborate with the team to define technical roadmaps and best practices. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in React.js and Next.js, with a strong understanding of modern frontend architectures. Proficiency in Node.js and backend development, including Express.js or NestJS. Experience optimizing performance for client-side and server-side rendering applications. Solid understanding of TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and component-based development. Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.). Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database optimization (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Experience with code refactoring, technical debt management, and best coding practices. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, or similar) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices, monorepos (Nx, TurboRepo), and API gateway architectures. Previous experience working with performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, New Relic, etc.). Strong knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and SEO optimizations in Next.js applications.
