Full-Stack Mobile Developer for iOS App & Backend with Gamification and AI Integration

We’re seeking an experienced full-stack mobile developer to take our project to the next level. Our project already has both a fully developed iOS frontend and a server-side backend. We need someone who can deploy our iOS app to TestFlight, deploy and configure our backend services, integrate robust gamification features, and implement AI-driven content recognition. This role requires a developer with expertise in both mobile and backend development, a strong understanding of secure and scalable infrastructure, and experience with AI integration. Responsibilities: 1. iOS App Deployment: • Ensure the existing iOS app builds correctly in Xcode. • Manage App IDs, Certificates, and Provisioning Profiles. • Upload the app to TestFlight for internal and external testing. 2. Backend Deployment & Configuration: • Deploy the existing backend code (hosted on DigitalOcean, AWS, or a similar provider). • Set up and configure the PostgreSQL database (including running migrations). • Configure AWS S3 (or an equivalent solution) for media storage. • Secure the backend with HTTPS and proper authentication mechanisms. 3. Integration Between App & Backend: • Update the iOS app’s API endpoints to point to the deployed backend. • Ensure seamless data flow between the app and backend (e.g., login, content retrieval). 4. Gamification System Implementation: • Define and implement gamification rules (points, badges, levels, etc.). • Develop backend logic to track user progress and rewards. • Integrate user interface components that clearly display gamification elements. 5. AI Content Recognition Integration: • Choose and integrate an AI framework (e.g., Core ML for on-device processing, or a server-based solution like TensorFlow). • Implement AI models for content recognition (images, text, etc.). • Ensure that user-generated content is processed efficiently and securely. 6. Infrastructure, Security, and Scalability: • Optimize server resources and database performance for scalability. • Implement logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog) to track app performance and errors. • Ensure robust data encryption, secure API calls, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). 7. Documentation & Handover: • Provide detailed documentation on deployment, configuration, and how to update gamification rules and AI models. • Deliver clear instructions for ongoing maintenance and future updates. Requirements: • Proven experience in full-stack mobile development (iOS with Swift and backend technologies). • Familiarity with deploying iOS apps to TestFlight and managing Apple Developer accounts. • Experience with server deployment, database management (PostgreSQL), and cloud storage (AWS S3). • Strong knowledge of gamification strategies and backend integration. • Experience with AI frameworks (Core ML, TensorFlow, etc.) and integrating AI models. • Ability to write clear, maintainable code and documentation. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
