As a SWE at our startup, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant impact on our product and business strategy. Designing Intuitive and Scalable User Experiences: Responsible for crafting seamless, user-friendly interfaces that scale with the growth of the product. This includes creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs while keeping the user journey intuitive across AI-driven features. The designer should ensure that complex AI processes are presented to users in a clear, digestible way. Rapid Iteration and Prototyping Based on User Feedback and Data: Develop and iterate on designs quickly, based on real-time user feedback, data analytics, and emerging product needs. Adaptable, responsive to changes, and able to integrate feedback into designs efficiently to support the startup’s rapid growth. Collaborating Closely with AI Engineers and Product Teams: The designer will collaborate directly with ai engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure the design aligns with ai functionalities and the startup’s vision. Key Skills and Abilities. Wireframing and Prototyping: Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Balsamiq to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows. User-Centered Design: Ability to design with the user in mind, ensuring the app is intuitive, easy to navigate, and meets the needs of the target audience. Understanding of Design Principles: Strong grasp of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs. Experience with Mobile and Web Design: Knowledge of the differences between designing for mobile apps versus web platforms, including responsive design techniques. Basic Understanding of Front-End Development: While not necessary, it's beneficial if they have some knowledge of html, css, and javascript to understand the technical constraints and possibilities. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
