Responsibilities Manage 6–8 eCommerce client accounts: Plan, launch, and optimize YouTube advertising campaigns for multiple eCommerce brands, owning both the strategy and day-to-day execution for each account. Strategic Campaign Planning: Develop end-to-end YouTube Ads strategies (targeting, bidding, ad formats) that align with each client’s goals and KPIs. Provide strategic recommendations to scale campaigns and improve performance over time. Hands-on Campaign Execution: Set up and manage campaigns in Google Ads (YouTube platform), including keyword/audience research, ad creative coordination, budget management, and A/B testing of creatives and targeting. Performance Optimization: Monitor campaign performance daily, analyzing metrics like ROAS, CPA, CTR, and view-through rates. Proactively adjust targeting, bids, and creatives to maximize ROI and meet client acquisition goals. Client Communication: Serve as a client-facing YouTube Ads expert. Prepare and deliver clear performance reports using data visualizations, translate results into insights, and communicate next steps. Participate in client meetings to present campaign strategies and address questions in a professional manner. Collaboration: Work closely with our internal team – coordinate with creative designers/video editors to produce high-converting video ads, and collaborate with account managers or strategists to ensure YouTube Ads efforts align with overall marketing plans for each eCommerce client. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest YouTube Ads features, algorithm changes, and industry trends. Continuously test new strategies and creatives to improve campaign performance and share insights with the team. Requirements Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience managing YouTube Ads campaigns, preferably for eCommerce or direct-to-consumer brands. Proven track record of driving growth and ROI through YouTube advertising. Strategic & Analytical Skills: Ability to think strategically about marketing funnels while also diving into campaign analytics. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize campaigns; comfortable with metrics like CAC, LTV, ROAS, etc. Client-Facing Abilities: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in an agency or client-facing role is highly valued – you should be adept at managing client relationships and explaining complex data in understandable terms. Multi-Account Management: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple client campaigns at once. Prior experience managing several accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is a plus. Self-Starter: Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting. You take ownership of results and consistently meet deadlines. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus (but not required if you have the right experience and skills). Preferred Tools & Platforms Google Ads (YouTube Ads): Mastery of the Google Ads platform, especially the YouTube Ads interface (campaign setup, audience manager, analytics reports). Google Analytics & Tag Manager: Proficient in using Google Analytics (GA4) to track conversions and user behavior, and comfortable with Google Tag Manager or similar tools for implementing tracking pixels and conversion tags. Communication & Project Tools: Familiarity with Slack for team communication and coordination. Experience with remote project management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, or ClickUp) to track tasks and campaign progress. Other: Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis. Any experience with video editing or creative briefing tools is a bonus, as is knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.) to understand client funnels. Working Style Approximately 15-25 hours per week with flexibility in schedule. We do expect some availability for key client meetings or team calls as needed. Freelance Contract: You will start as an independent contractor. We value long-term collaborations; for the right candidate, this role has the potential to become a full-time position as our agency grows and if you consistently deliver strong results. Collaborative Culture: We encourage open communication, idea-sharing, and feedback. You should be comfortable working independently but also proactively collaborating via Slack and video calls.
