We’re looking for a creative and reliable social media content creator to help build the brand of a high-performing high school basketball athlete. Currently ranked top 25 at a private prep school with college recruiters already watching, this player is on a fast track toward next-level opportunities — and we want the content to match. We’ve got a large library of raw photos and video clips (training, games, family moments, visits, etc.). What we need is someone who can turn that into compelling social content — including TikToks, Instagram posts, stories, reels, and Twitter/X — that showcases his skills, personality, and journey both on and off the court. Responsibilities: Create 3–5 engaging posts per week (mix of highlights, training, lifestyle, throwbacks, etc.) Design stories and reels that show development, daily work, and key milestones Write authentic captions that align with athlete branding and attract recruiters/scouts Use smart hashtag strategies and growth opportunities Stay aligned with tone: confident but humble, focused, and future-facing Ideal Candidate: Experience managing athlete or sports-related social media accounts Strong visual storytelling and editing skills Pro at creating engaging content on all platforms Knows how to position content for NIL, recruiting, and audience growth Able to take initiative with ideas while working within a brand vision This is a long-term freelance role with room to grow as the athlete’s platform expands.
