Project Overview: Marand Builders currently has a website built on Concrete CMS. We want to migrate the entire site to WordPress, maintain the overall content structure, and implement a new WordPress theme we’ve already selected. Additionally, we need a new slider section above the fold on our homepage and the creation of 8 local/regional office pages. Key Deliverables: Full Site Migration to WordPress: Transfer existing content, pages, and media from Concrete CMS to WordPress. Ensure all URLs, SEO metadata, and site structure remain intact (or employ 301 redirects where necessary). Theme Implementation: Install and configure the provided WordPress theme. Customize design elements to match our branding (logo, colors, fonts). Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. New Slider Above the Fold: Implement a high-quality slider on the homepage for an engaging user experience. Provide settings or instructions for easy content updates (e.g., text, images). Local Pages Setup: Create 8 new pages for our regional offices. Each page should follow a consistent layout, with placeholders or basic content for location details (address, phone number, local imagery, etc.). Integrate any necessary local SEO best practices (e.g., location-specific meta titles and descriptions). Project Requirements: Proven experience with WordPress migrations (especially from Concrete CMS, if possible). Strong knowledge of WordPress theme installation and customization. Ability to manage redirects and preserve SEO value. Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving. Experience with sliders or front-page hero sections is a plus. Additional Notes: We will provide the new theme, brand assets (logo, color codes, fonts), and content guidelines. Please include a brief outline of your proposed migration process, timeline, and any relevant examples from past projects.
