In this role, you’ll focus on analyzing site performance, conducting audits, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance our (and our nonprofit clients’) online visibility. Think of yourself as the brains behind our SEO strategy—our team will handle the implementation; we need your expertise to tell us what to do and why. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of SEO best practices, from keyword research to technical SEO, and can deliver clear, concise reports that outline specific opportunities for optimization. You should be comfortable working independently, conducting thorough audits, and translating data into strategic insights. Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs is a must. What you’ll do: - Conduct comprehensive SEO audits of WordPress websites to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. - Provide clear, actionable recommendations on-site structure, technical SEO issues, meta tags, keyword optimization, and more. - Deliver reports outlining prioritized next steps to enhance search engine rankings and improve user experience. - Analyze SEO performance metrics and share insights on trends, keyword rankings, and potential adjustments. - Act as an SEO advisor to our team, answering questions and providing guidance to ensure best practices are implemented correctly.
