We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Web Developer to support a large-scale, cloud-based digital platform serving millions of users. In this role, you will work closely with development, engineering, architecture, testing, and client teams to ensure smooth performance, issue resolution, and platform scalability. This role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and the ability to pass a background check. Responsibilities - Oversee and execute development, operations, and monitoring activities for a production web platform - Coordinate with cross-functional Agile teams to support system stability, performance, and compliance - Build features and enhancements - Monitor logs, troubleshoot bugs, and manage system alerts and tickets - Apply patches, update CI/CD pipelines, and ensure infrastructure reliability - Collaborate on security monitoring and performance tuning Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in backend web development (DevOps/O&M experience preferred) - Proven track record for systems support and meeting SLA requirements - Languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Bash, Ruby, Node.js - Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Solr - Cloud Platforms: AWS - CI/CD Tools: GitLab Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes - Experience in Agile and Kanban environments - Familiarity with monitoring tools and secure system operations in cloud environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
